How do you get to advanced search in new navigation?

The old navigation had a menu item called "Issues" that when clicked, brought me to the last issue search performed and let me edit it. I cannot find something similar in the new navigation on the side. 

How can I get to the issue search with the fewest amounts of clicks?

Cloud:

1. click the JIRA icon in top left
2. select Issues
3. select Search for issues

or

1. click magnifying glass
2. select view all issues
3. edit the search

i really wish that you could do it from the magnifying glass search. It sort of works but The results are not as desired, example below.

enter - project = abc

translates to - project = abc and text ~ “project=“
