How do you delete an issue in Jira Software Cloud

I am using the new issue layout view in Jira Software Cloud. I am logged in as a highest level permission user (system admin) and there is no button to delete an issue. Myself and a couple developers who have used Jira in the past cannot find a button or option anywhere to delete an issue when it was created by mistake.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Screenshots are most welcome.

There is no button its in the menu on the far right. If delete isnt there then you need to go to the project settings, and click permissions and then check who has rights to delete issues in the project. It may have nobody populated.
