How do you delete a project

I want to delete a project and all its stories because it is no longer being used.  How do you do that and do I have to be the Project administrator?

Hi Robert,

you can delete your project in the project settings:

I think, you have to be Jira Administrator to delete a project.

In general, we do not delete projects. If we don't need them anymore, we remove every permission, so it is invisible for anyone except the administrators. I made the experience that sooner or later, someone will look up anything on this project and then you still have it.
