How do you correctly close a sprint when using more than one 'done' status?

We currently use two 'done' statuses, one being 'Shippable' and one being 'Deployed'. Both are 'Done' statuses so have resolution dates/times added, the only difference being for us to manage the deployment process as there are multiple sprint teams.
When we are closing sprints, the 'Shippable' stories are being carried into the new sprint, despite all subtasks also being marked as a 'done' status
Is it down to the configuration of the work flows where something else needs to be added in to mark the 'shippable' stories as completed and therefore can be excluded from being carried to the new sprint, or is it as simple as the tickets need to be in the farthest right column to be considered as complete?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Make sure all your "done" status (for both issues and sub-tasks) are in the last column on the board)

Thank you, I was hoping there was a way we could manage completed work vs deployed work as there may be other factors for deployment out of the control of the sprint team. I guess we will have to use labels to filter and manage this process going forward to make sure nothing is missed

Hi Mike - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, it should be as simple as making sure that both Done category statuses are in the far right column.
