How do you add a a built-in field to your project

We would like to use the field "Impediment Reason" w/in our project but it is not available to use in the Custom Fields

In order to add a Custom Field, you will have to be a JIRA Admin.

You should click on:

admin cog -> Issues -> Custom Fields

Click at the top right on Add Custom Fields and then add the one you want.
