How do we get the "Issue" menu back

colin mcdermott February 25, 2025

I am migrating from Jira DC to Jira cloud...

We have no issues menu dropdown. We have also lost menus related to apps like Structure and Zephyr...

How do we control these menu's and add them back?

Hello @colin mcdermott

The Issues menu was renamed Filters in Jira Cloud.

Many of the third party app menus are now located under the Apps menu.

It is not possible to make the Jira Cloud UI identical to the Jira DC UI. The architecture of the products are different. Atlassian has been evolving the UI. Third party apps have to interact with Jira in a different way.

We seem to be missing a lot from the "Filters" aka "Issues" menu, and I don't get the reason for this change at all?>?

For instance, the Issues menu has:

Current Search,

Search for Issues

Archived issues

recent issues.

Which is what we use day to day. While Atlassian may have a point that we shouldn't think "issues".

I never think "what filters will I work on today".
