Hello Atlassian Community!
I am currently working on building a Jira Plugin for my Jira Software Server (version 8.7) and i'm using the atlassian SDK 8.0.16. Unfortunately, i cannot get my intelliJ to connect to my Jira server and run my code in a way that will display the results in intelliJ (Something similar to the Script Console powered by Scriptrunner). I'd really appreciate some help in this and i hope you can support me in solving this issue.
Kind regards,
Chaimaa
Hello @celbadaoui
Thank you for reaching out.
Per your description, I understand that you would like to know how you can set up the IntelliJ environment to allow your code to be implemented and build your own plugin. Is that correct?
Since this is a development question, I believe the correct place to ask for help is in the Atlassian Developer Community:
https://community.developer.atlassian.com/
The mentioned portal was specifically created for development questions, where you will find articles and suggestions from other third-party partners and Atlassian developers. Feel free to open a new topic about your question there! :)
Have a nice weekend and let us know if you have any other questions.
Hello @Petter Gonçalves, thank you for answering, i'll try posting it there and see if i'll have any luck. Again, thank you.
Best regards,
Chaimaa

Hello @celbadaoui
How did this pan out? Where you able to find an up-to-date tutorial or something??? I dont see any post from you on the dev forum, so I assume you figured it out somehow?? We're in same situation and I'd like to know what helped you.. Thanks!
