How do i create a mandatory popup when transitioning to Done status

Any story or task or sub-task, When transitioning to Done status should request for comments by default

How do i achieve it, I tried adding validator but it doesnt show the column i created as required

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? That information will display at the bottom of the panel on the left when you are viewing the project.

If you are working with a Team Managed project it is not currently possible to display a pop up screen during a workflow transition.

If you are working with a Company Managed project then you would need to create a screen with the fields you want and add that screen to the workflow transition. Refer to
