I am wanting to edit the Account that a issue is linked to. However it only gives me the option of 2 accounts. How do i get it to allow me to see all the accounts that have been created?
Hi all,
When editing the Tempo Account custom field in the Issue view, only the Accounts that are linked to the Project are shown in the dropdown.
To link an Account to a Project you can either
- go to Tempo, Accounts, select the Account and use the "Add Project Link" to select a Project
- go to Projects, select the Project, Project settings, Accounts and select the Account to be linked.

How can we see our projects with the accounts that are linked to them? Is there somewhere we can go that has a list?

What is an "Account"? Do you have a screenshot you can provide?

That looks like a custom field, which means the list of accounts is set by your administrators. If you only have two, that's because they've only defined two (for this project)

@Alexey MatveevWe use tempo to enter how much time worked is going into what. On a weekly basis i send an excel sheet based off of the time entered into jira/tempo so my boss can keep track of how much time is being put into each project. We base our billing of of this. If there is an easier way to do this, please let me know.

Go to the account tab, then find an account, which you can not see in your dropdown, and add the project of the issue to this account.

The account name is already created though. I don't want to duplicate it. I just want to be able to see all the existing accounts in the dropdown menu when an issue/key is created.

You do not need to create a new account. Edit the existing one. Add the project of the issue as a link for this account.
