How do creative teams manage photography projects from planning to delivery?

I’m curious how other creative teams manage photography projects when there are multiple steps involved.

For example, a photography project can include client communication, planning the shoot, organizing locations and equipment, completing the shoot, selecting images, editing, getting client feedback, and delivering the final gallery.

I’ve been looking at different examples of professional photography businesses, and it made me wonder whether Jira or Confluence could be useful for keeping this entire process organized.

Would you recommend using Jira to track individual photography projects and deadlines, while keeping things like client requirements and project notes in Confluence?

I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has adapted Atlassian tools for a creative agency, photography business, or another service-based workflow.

Hi Tahir,

It's really no different than other types of projects. You identify your process and the steps that work goes through to complete the process. Then you create a space to capture the information/tickets/work to be done, you build a workflow that includes all of the steps in your process, and then you start!
