How do approvals work/configure in JWM?

I see approvals listed as a feature in the JWM product page, but they clearly do not work with the same workflow based design that JSM does.

How do you configure approval layers and users for things like the procurement project template in JWM?

Do you have an update on this? I used your jira work template for managing policy documents but frustrated to find that approvals aren't available like they are in Jira Service Management.

this feature appears for quite some time now on the video and yet still does not exist in the system itself.
