How do I turn off emoji example comments?

This morning I have started seeing this in my comment boxes and its annoying because it makes it harder to write a comment since its easy to missclick and then I have to delete this wrong text.

Currently there is not an Administrator accessible setting for this.

You can reach out to Atlassian through a support case to ask them to disable it:

Your Jira Site Admin will need to do this.
