How do I show the current assigned sprint in a filtered list view?

I generate a report weekly for a business user for all of the work items for his project.  The report is used as a roadmap so they know which sprint the story or bug will be worked on.  Right now the sprint column is showing every sprint the item was ever assigned to.  I want the sprint the item is in at the moment the filter is run.  I'm aware of how to use Sprint in currentsprint() - that's not what I'm looking for.

Hello Cheri,

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Jira does not have a field that displays only the active/latest Sprint in your issues, however, we completely understand your need here and how useful it would be if you clearly have this information in the report.

That being said, we created the following feature request to implement this option:

Export only single Sprint field

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As a workaround, you can create a new custom field called "Active Sprint" and fill it with the actual Sprint of the issue, displaying that in your report.

Let us know if you have any questions.
