How do I see the full issue view as specified by the picture below in Jira Cloud?

Frank Trujillo August 15, 2019

FullIssueView.png

This view has the project and ID at the top, the title, actions below it, then the areas that are categorized by details, description, people, attatchments, and such.  How to get there as this is what I would expect but I can't get there from my version of Jira it seems.  Does this need to be configured?

Hey Frank - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Not exactly sure what you are asking, but if it is that you want to see all of the fields displayed, then that only happens in the Old Jira Issue View if the field has a value in it. To see the fields, you can click on the Edit button.

If you switch to the New Jira Issue View, you would see all of the fields displayed on the right hand side.

If that is not what you are looking for, can you provide more details?

Ok, it wasn't very intuitive initially.  I click on an issue and it displays the detailed information on the right pane.  I then have to actually click the issue number for the full-issue view to be displayed.  Then I have to choose the old view to see the version of the screen that I displayed above.  That is a lot of clicking.

I can get there now, but maybe there is an easier way to navigate through the issues in order using the old view of the issue.  Yes? No?

If you want to see the old view all of the time, just click on your profile avatar in the bottom left.

Then choose Personal Settings,

Scroll about 2/3 of the way down and click off New Jira View.
