How do I see Unassigned tasks in Jira plan ?

Hello community!

I have a plan with Tasks with assigned Epics to it.

I want to view the plan so the tasks are groups by epics, while the whole plan is grouped by the sprint.

Since epics are unassigned, they do not show in the plan.

Any ideas how to fix this ?

Hi @Gal Dagan welcome to the community! 

Seems like you're using the advanced roadmap. I would probably check the following: 

1) Check your issue sources in Advanced Roadmaps. Make sure all epics are imported into the advanced roadmap.

2) Next, issue hierarchies and view settings. Check the Group by option in the View settings of your plan.

My issue source is the Board, which includes the Epics.

Also, I used to group by the sprint and still see the Unassigned swimlane at the bottom of my plan. 

And about the hierarchy, mine is default - Epic -> Task -> Subtask.

Any other ideas ?

Not ideal, but I would probably try to create/remove issues manually, to have a desired view of the advanced roadmap.

Or, you can try to submit a request to Atlassian Support.
