I am brand new to Atlassian like one week new. I need to restart my crowd server. Can anyone direct me on how to do it or send me instructions?
Hi Jim,
apart from the Suggestion here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CWD-5118 that documentation should be made on how to start and stop Crowd the question is how you use Crowd?
I am a bit confused as the post signalizes you are using Cloud.
The "getting started guide" as least mentions you can start it using a batch file (Windows).
On linux it is a shell script except your admins setup a service for it or made some other magic to start it.

It will be needed to look at the server to find out how it was started.
Regards,
Daniel
Thanks Danial this was also my first post ever and I just joined a team that owns the support of the application . We had a production down situation and I had asked in a Atlassian in a support ticket to get on the phone with us and they were not willing to get on the phone with us to help us get this fixed right away.
I did not notice the capability to select deployment type. We are on VM's in a shared datacenter. I was told to just reboot the VM that it is installed on and when that did not work I reached out to the community here as I was under a time constraint to get it working.
Thanks again
Jim
