Zendesk links a ticket to a Jira ticket - How do I report the number of linked ZD tickets to single Jira ticket.
For example -A board shows several Jira tickets, within those tickets could be 100s of ZD tickets attached to each Jira ticket. This is essential to prioritise which tickets to work first.
Thanks,
Adding to Jack's answer, assuming you have the Jira and Zendesk integration, the Zendesk tickets are updated in a Zendesk Ticket ID field.
In association to that Zendesk provided the count out of the box https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408843823642-Reporting-on-the-number-of-Zendesk-tickets-linked-to-a-Jira-issue
If this doesn't work then automation is the way to go
Hi @John Bottomley ,
to be clear you are saying that a single Jira issue can have multiple Z-tickets and you want to display the number. Correct? Assuming so, I would create a custom number field to capture the total # of links for an issue. I would use Automation to increment this field each time a link is made. However this is a bit messy and not totally reliable if you consider a link being removed.
