Hi there - setting up our internal Jira Cloud instance and need to remove these two tabs or at least the visibility for them. Anyone have suggestions?

I assume you are talking about the two fields that are shown in the right panel in the issue view.
Unfortunately you cannot remove those, the visibility is controlled by the corresponding app, and the majority of apps does not allow you to configure it those fields should be visible or not per project.
Actually, I am referring to the two circled tabs in the attachment. I presume, however, that the answer is the same?

Correct, SFDC Comments cannot be removed But the one for Zendesk you should be able to remove, I think I saw a setting for it (I cannot get to the configuration screen for Zendesk at the moment to confirm).

The app for Zendesk allows you to restrict the projects that are available on the Zendesk side, and that will remove the Zendesk comment tab if the project is restricted, but it will not remove the Zendesk Support field.
