I just got a new computer and could not remember my password for Jira. Upon requesting a password update request, I reset my password which in turn created a new profile for me. I now have two profiles in my organization. How do I merge them or access the prior profile?

Since you already created a new account, the best option is to talk to your administrator for them to move all tickets where you are the reporter/assignee to your new account or for them to send a reset password for your original account.
If you want to try to login using your original account, I would suggest that you use an incognito window, so you will make sure that you are not logged in to any Atlassian product and use the right email address.

@chris.roller You can ask your administrator to either deactivate the new profile in user management or delete the one you do not want. if you are not sure which one is correct one then deactivating it one by one can help you figure it out and the other one can be deleted by admin
