How do I match an Issue (Story) Epic Link to an Issue (Epic) Key?

I am extracting data to use external visualization tools. When I extract Issue Types = Story, I can get the Epic Link field. However, I need to know the Epic Key related to the Epic on the Epic Link field for the Story in question.

 

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Luca - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The value for the Epic Link field is indeed the key for the Epic related to the story. It will look something like ABC-123
