This is my dashboard:
https://artmonster.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards/10001
I want it visible to the public with no login required. I have granted every public permissions I can think of but it still requires a login. Jira settings show that it is visible to the public. Jira settings show my project filter is visible to the public. I am able to save/share the dashboard with the public setting. So why does it requires a login?
I am able to visit Jira issues without a login, as shown here: https://artmonster.atlassian.net/browse/MON-19
Below is the screenshot showing that the dashboard is public. I am the admin.
This might help (but did not help me on free teir) https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/prevent-or-remove-public-access/
Its such a basic requirement; I don't understand why Atlassian dont support this or make it so are to do. :(
I sent in a help request to the Rich Filters support, and this was the reply I got. I have no idea what to do next:
Thank you for reaching out.
Unfortunately, many of Jira’s APIs simply don’t work for the anonymous user (on public dashboards where no user is logged in). In this particular case, everything crashed because of this particular bug: ACJIRA-2580 - "atlassian-connect/1/addons" REST API cannot be accessed by anonymous users.
There are many other bugs in Jira’s APIs that manifest only for the anonymous user. For example:
ACJIRA-2281 - ‘GET priorities' REST endpoint does not work for anonymous users
ACJIRA-2282 - ‘GET resolutions' REST endpoint does not work for anonymous users
ACJIRA-2279 - 'Check issues against JQL' REST API does not work for Anonymous users
We have reported all these to Atlassian already. Unless Atlassian makes a priority from making the APIs work for anonymous users too, we don’t see how apps in general can work correctly in this case. Unfortunately, at our level, there is not much we can do without Atlassian’s help here.
