How do I include Subtasks in my board filter?

I'm trying to filter my board to see tasks and subtasks assigned to me. Currently I only see the tasks that are assigned to me, not any subtasks. When I go into the filter area, that's not an option. What am I missing?

In a work management project the sub tasks to a work item are listed within the work item card like this:

And unlike a software project the sub task cannot be moving separately on the board, it will aways follow the parent work item.

That makes sense. I see the subtasks on the individual cards. It's more when I'm trying to filter the board to the ones assigned to me, I will only see it if the Parent is assigned to me; I won't see any of the sub tasks are assigned to me. I noticed I can do this in the List view, just not the board view (where I tend to spend most of my time).

Totally agree, and there is a suggestion regarding this that you can vote on and follow, JWMCLOUD-322.
