How do I have different orders of items in different backlogs?

We have different backlogs for different teams. For example, we use one backlog to organize / order tickets for sprints and another one to specify whether something needs to be investigated immediately or later.

When we order tickets by dragging them up/down in one backlog, it also affects the order of the tickets in another.

Is there a way to unsync the ordering of the tickets?

Ranking is a value set/associated with each issue. You get one value per issue. It is not associated with a board. My only, out of the box suggestion, would be to create some form of custom field where are you can do a different type of ranking. However this would be a very tedious manual exercise.

FWIW...

I would suggest rethinking your process a bit here. If something needs to be investigated immediately or later that seems to align with the whole purpose of the backlog. If it is to be investigated later it should be in the backlog. If it needs to be investigated immediately it needs to be moved up out of the back log in onto your active board. Just my $0.02 from the back seat.
