Can get the labels. flags etc to show but not the priority
Also, some in the office have ACTIVE SPRINT , mine just shows board and backlog

what kind of board are you using? Are you using a Kanban or Scrum Board - that determines whether you can create active sprints (Scrum Board) or are using "only" board and backlog (Kanban), I'd recomment this article for a good understanding of what to use when: https://www.atlassian.com/agile/kanban/kanban-vs-scrum or simply check this page in the documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/what-is-a-board-938845235.html (careful this links to server, if you are using cloud you should check in the documentation for cloud)
As for showing priority on your cards, you can display up to three fields on your Card Layout within the board.
Assuming that you have the necessary user rights to configure your board simply open the board click on the Board dropdown menu in the upper right corner and navigate to:
Board>Configure>Card layout
if you have three fields already selected, delete one of the ones used (basically the one that is least necessary), now you should see the toprow revealing an Add Option with a dropdown menu where you can select priority. I am assuming that priority is displayed in the issues detail view and on editing screens right?
