I have a kanban board that is group:queries (we do this by fixVersion).
I have several versions before the one that is not displaying and I have one after. I only have one that I'm having this issue with.
I have deleted it and re-added it several times and it still won't display, made sure it's not archived...I'm stumped :-(
Hi Shannon - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Swimlanes will not show if there are no cards that match the query for Swimlane. So if you don't have any cards with a value for that fixVersion that is in your query, that would be why you don't see the Swimlane. Can you verify that?
Yup, that was the first thing I checked. I came in this morning, and now it's displaying, so I'm not sure what was going on. Thanks for the reply :-)

While I understand that this is to prevent clutter, I wish it was an option to show all swimlanes. we have some boards that only have a couple swimlanes and it is a pain not being able to create an issue based on the swimlane criteria, in our case "component".
thank you for listening :)

There was a change request about that in 2014 that was closed with a comment that it would not be addressed in the forthcoming 12 months.

Hello
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
What type of space does this concern? Get that information by clicking the ... button next to the Space name in the navigation panel. The Space type displays as two lines at the bottom of the pop-up and will be something like:
Software space
Company-managed
Both lines of information are important to provide an accurate answer for your question.
Is the version status of the missing version the same as the version status of the versions that are showing?
Do you have any issues within the scope of the board that have their Fix Version set to that version?

Hi @Shannon Buxton ,
For kanban boards, there is a sub query filter that limits how long a completed item. By default, it's either 2 or 4 weeks. That could one potential cause. The other is do you have any quick filters that would prevent those issues from showing up?
Perhaps the swim lane is collapsed.

None that I saw. However, for some mysterious reason, it is now displaying on the board. I asked around and no one changed anything, so I'm not sure what was going on. Thanks for the reply :-)
