Every month I use to type Billing into search and all the billing issues would appear and under the three dots I could choose the option to export all the issues to csv.  That options does not seem to be available anymore.  It still shows all the Billings issues, but not the option to export all.

Hi @Lindie Meyer

If I understand, you search for all Billing issues and then the top right 3-dot option doesn't show Export option anymore.

The only reason for this can be that the Jira global permission "Make Bulk Changes" is not assigned to you or you are not in a group able to do this.

Hi @Lindie Meyer,

Welcome to the community!

Jira has moved things around a bit recently. The export option is still there, but it's in a different spot depending on which view you're in.

If you're using the Issue Navigator (search results):

  1. Run your search (or open your saved filter)
  2. Look for the Export button in the top-right area of the results, or click the ••• (more) menu
  3. You should see options like "Export Excel CSV (all fields)" and "Export Excel CSV (current fields)"

If you're in the List view inside a project:

The list view doesn't have a direct CSV export. You'd need to open your filter in the full search/issue navigator to get the export options. You can do this by clicking Filters in the top nav, or saving your search as a filter first.

Quick shortcut: Navigate to https://<your-site>.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=summary ~ "Billing" (adjust the JQL to match your search). The issue navigator should show the export option in the top-right.

If none of that works, could you share a screenshot of the view where you're looking? That would help narrow down what's changed for your instance.

Hope this helps, Paul

Following up on my earlier answer...
Since you mentioned running this billing export every month, you might want a setup that's a bit more repeatable.

If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, JXL for Jira lets you save a spreadsheet-style view of your issues with exactly the columns you need, then export to Excel or CSV in two clicks. You'd set up your billing view once and reuse it each month.

Hi @Lindie Meyer

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Am I right that the part visible in the screenshot is not available for you?
