are you referring to the default 'kanban' board that is created when the project is created. If so, you cannot. However, if you create an actual Kanban board, set the location to your profile and add a link to the project sidebar then you can add labels there. LMK if this doesn't make sense.

@Alanda Savat , this discussion is cloud specific. I am unsure how Kanban business boards work on server. I would assume that the “location” limitation in cloud did not exist in server. Maybe you should post a new question with server tag to get some server user attention.
