Is there any way to disable Customer Notifications for external reporters while keeping them enabled for internal users?
We have an email address setup to automatically create Jira tickets. We expect to receive emails both from users within the organization and mail addresses belonging to those outside the organization. We subscribe to certain email newsletters and want tickets to be automatically created based on those external emails.
I see within Project Settings that we can disable Customer Notifications altogether, but I'd like for them to remain enabled for actual users.
Not really. You could potentially use Automation for Jira to send email notifications to youtr internal customers and disable the out of the box notifications.
