How do I create multiple automation triggers for GitHub?

I would like to create the following automation triggers for Jira based on what happens in GitHub:

  • When a Branch is created move the card automatically to In Progress
  • Build failed moved to In Progress
  • Commit Created move to In Progress
  • Pull request created move to Code Complete
  • Pull request declines move to In Progress
  • Pull request merged move to Done

How can I do this?

Hi @vildana_ermaya

What have you tried thus far?  It looks like you found the triggers to use, and now you just need to build the rules and test them.

Here is some documentation to get you started.  If you get stuck, consider posting an image of your rule and what specifically you believe is the problem.

Overview:  https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/automate-your-jira-cloud-processes-and-workflows/

Automation trigger details: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/automation-triggers/

Development smart values: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/smart-values-development/

Automation template library: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library#/label/all/1453

Best regards,

Bill
