How do I create dynamic dropdown from salesforce connector?

Hi folks - our product folks want us to add a couple dropdowns based on Salesforce data. I have created a connector to Salesforce but have no idea how to create a custom field to do this. All the searches that I've done say 'buy this', 'buy that' - how do I create a dynamically populated dropdown from a connector, please? My google-fu has failed me.
