How do I create custom reports such as bar charts showing types of components vs issue count?

I need to create a report which compares the number of tickets for various components over each of the past few months. It would be like viewing several monthly component pie charts  all at once, something like this:

I haven't yet found an option in creating reports that allows this, but it must be possible.

HI @John  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is nothing out of the box in Jira Cloud which will make a stacked-column chart like that.  Please look here for what is available pre-installed:

You can find many other gadget options in the marketplace for purchase.

If you solution does not need to be on a Jira dashboard, you could export to a spreadsheet, or use the Atlassian Excel plug-in, to build your own reporting.
