I need to create a report from my tickets showing the impact types such as impacting quality, or production, or personnel, or cost, etc?  Right now there is no drop down list in my ticket form to capture those attributes.  Thanks.

Hello @Alec Hir

Welcome to the community.

Are you working with a Classic project or a Next Gen project?

If NextGen, you will need to create a custom field to record that information in your issues. Refer to: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/customize-an-issues-fields-in-next-gen-projects/

If Classic, you will want to determine if such a field has already been created but is just not available in your project. Refer to https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/custom-fields-types-in-classic-projects/

For a Classic project you will need to additionally add the custom field to the Field Configuration for your project, and to the Screens for your project.

Once you have the field and have started tracking the data, then you can start reporting on it.
