How do I create a follow-up field when "No" is selected from a dropdown menu?

I have a required "Yes" or "No" field, and if they select "No", how do I make an additional follow-up field that asks them why they chose "No"?

Thanks!

Hi @Eric Broshears ,

I don't believe you can do that in default Jira functionality. You can create the 2 fields but you would always need to display them.

Unless you have an AddOn like Scriptrunner. Maybe you can then create a behaviour that adds some logic. Or maybe a script. Or maybe there is another AddOn available that would allow you to do something like that.

Thanks for the quick response, Kris!  Yeah, after poking around for a while, it doesn't look like I can do what I wanted.  Will have to get creative.

Cheers,
