When configuring a board the documentation lists 'Projects' as an option to base swimlanes. However I don't see this option in any of the boards I've created regardless of project type (Kanban or Scrum) or filter. I see only the other options listed (Stories, Assignees, Epics, Queries, No swimlanes).
Thank you,
JC
You will need to use the by “queries” and specify the project! E.g. project = a, project = b...
obviously this will not be dynamic so you will need to maintain it as project change but those not specified will appear under “everything else” swimlane in the meantime.
I'd read about this approach elsewhere but seemed like a heavier lift (there's 30+ projects in the project category I've filtered on). Could it be the documentation I'm looking at no is longer applicable?

Well, not to proud to admit I was flat out wrong here. Indeed you can do it by projects. I don’t ever recall seeing it before but just check and indeed it is an option for swimlanes. So now the question is, are you not seeing the option? Board settings > swimlanes

Does your agile board span multiple projects?

Hello, thank you for your response. Yes - I've two boards where the filter is on project category (category = Development) and have numerous projects assigned to this category.
I see issues across these projects in the board view.
