How do I configurate the fields to fill in in an issue type ?

Hi,

I would like to add to the default scheme, a few more fields to fill in when creating the issue. And I don’t understand how to do this.

Actually i just need to add a theme, time estimate.

I saw that on « Create », you can either choose « All » or « Custom », which is a selection of those available in « All ». But I actually don’t know where to go even when I am in Settings > Issues > Field configuration or configuration scheme to do this.

It is not best practice to add fields to the default screen, as this is used for all new created projects, here's what I'd do:

1. Make a copy of the default screen
2. Add the additional fields to this new screen
3. You will need to add this screen to a screen scheme used in your project
4. Make sure this screen scheme is within the issue type screen scheme used by your project
5. Within the issue type screen scheme, you can associate issue types to the screen scheme containing the new screen
