How do I clone an epic with all the issues in it

Hi all - help!

Option to clone epic with all the issues seems to have disappeared. Can anyone help so I don't have to spend hours cloning issues under epics?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Maybe you used a Marketplace app to clone epics with all issues. E.g. that is possible with our app Deep Clone for Jira.

Your Jira admin should know which app it was and if she/he uninstalled it.

I've been told Deep Clone is only available if you're hosting yourself, we're in the cloud. Is that right?

No, that's not right. It's the other way around.  :) 

Deep Clone for Jira is ONLY available for Jira cloud.

Hi @Kate 

There are several requests to add (re-add?) this feature to JIRA cloud.  Here is one of them, in case you want to vote for it:

In the meantime, if you do not want to buy an add-on from the marketplace, you can build this yourself using the automation rules.  The one hiccup is that it will not copy any attachments. (That is an open request too.)  Please look here to learn more about that approach:
