How do I change my settings so I don't get email notifications for Issues I'm not watching/tagged in

I get email notifications for all changes made (comments, updates, edits) to issues under multiple projects regardless of whether I'm watching in them or not. Where is the setting to turn this off? So far other users do not report having this issue

Welcome to the community.

If the issues are in a Company Managed project, then notifications are managed through a Notification Scheme. The Project Administrator can look at the Notification Scheme to see if you individually or as part of a Project Role or as part of a User Group have been added to events such that you are getting notifications for these issues.

If changes need to be made to the scheme or to your membership in a User Group used in the scheme, those changes would have to be made by a Jira Administrator. 

Your ability to manage your notifications are limited to what you find in your Personal Settings.
