Hello @REITER, KIMBERLY,

I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

Our Jira cloud app might be suitable for your use case. With our app you can add a Quick Controller Gadget to your gadget that enables you to filter all Quick Gadgets on your dashboards dynamically.

My recommendation would be to create filters for "Team" and "Issue Type" and filter all issues on your dashboard by these fields.

You can check out our app without installation on our demo dashboards.

Hi @REITER, KIMBERLY,

An easy way to do this is by using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.

This gadget displays the issue from a filter or a JQL in a tree hierarchy in form of Epics > Stories > SubTask along with their status. If you have Jira Advanced Roadmaps installed, it can also display the Initiatives on top of epics.

So you could add a gadget like this for every team. More examples of use for this gadget can be found in the articles on our blog.

I hope this helps. If you need any questions, please contact support@stonikbyte.com.

Disclaimer: I am part of the team developing these gadgets.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I would

  • run a search for all your issues
  • save it as a filter
  • add a 2-dimensional filter statistic gadget to your dashboard, configured
    • to use your filter
    • x-axis set to issuetype
    • y-axis set to whatever you are putting on the issue to define it is with a team

Hi @REITER, KIMBERLY and welcome to the community!

Firstly, can you confirm you actually are talking about Dashboards and not Boards?

To cite @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- : "

A board is a view of a selection of issues, that you can use to see and update them.  It displays them in columns, with each column representing a step in your process for them. A dashboard is a place to collect together a set of reports that people might find useful. They don't have a lot in common, other than they both look at issues, and can be shared between users."
