How do I add options for component lead

Looking thru the documents and not finding solution on how to add Component Leads to a project.  I understand how to 'Edit component' and add a lead, but there are NO leads/options to select from.  How do I add to the list of leads to select.

I'd guess you do not have "browse users" global permission.  You should still be able to type in a user's full login id though.

I have admin privileges.

Good, that means you can check the global permission yourself.

Thanks, typing in does work; still would be nice to see the drop down for all users.

Ok, then you'll want to make sure you have the global permission to browse users.

For Permission 'Browse users and groups', I've added the Group 'jira-software-users' of which i am a member.  However, there still are no drow down users to select.  Thanks for the assistance.

When I look under System/Global Permissions/'Browse users and groups' and select 'jira-software-users' 'View Users' I see me as a member.  Do I have to log out and back in?
