I have an existing issue with an existing assignee.
But this assignee is no longer in the company and he is actually replaced by a new person.
So, I want to add this new employee in the assignee base in order to replace the old assignee of my issue by this new one.
So, how do i add a new user in the assignee register?
If you have many issues like this, you should do that by bulk edit as @Alexey Matveev mentioned.
But if you want to change only an issue, you can just go to the issue and change assignee accordingly. In both way, you need to add "Assignee" field to Edit issue screen and the new user should be in the list of assignable users.

You need to open all issues of the old assignee in the Issue Navigator with a query like this:
assignee= oldassigne
Then bulk edit the issues by changing the old assignee to the new one. You can read more about bulk edit here:
