We have 2 boards:
One board #1 called ‘FINANCIAL STATEMENTS’ board
Another board is called #2 FINANCIAL REPORTING
Both boards (#1 & #2) are under the same Project “WORKDAY FINANCIALS REPORTING AND STATEMENTS”.
The Filter query is same for both #1 ‘Reporting ‘ board and #2 ‘Statements’ board as they are created under one project.
The changes that we make for Reporting board will apply to Statements board too.
Previously, we created issues under board #1 (Reporting).
Question:
Now how can I query the #2 board (Statements) separately as we are starting to create issues in ‘STATEMENTS’ board. Also, we need to clean up the issues that are in #2 ‘STATEMENTS’ board – which technically belongs to the #1 ‘REPORTING’ board.
Please be specific since I'm a new user!
HI @[deleted] - You technically do not create issues in or on a board. You create an issue against a project and provide an Issue Type. That can be done for any project while on any board.
So you need some way to distinguish the difference between the Statements issues and the Reporting issues. How are you doing that? With different Issue Types? With different Components? With some other field?
Then your boards will use two separate fields that take into consideration how you are distinguishing between the issues - that is, what makes an issue a Statement issue and what makes an issue a Reporting issue.
