How can you add story points to a user story in a next-gen project?

We would like to work in JIRA next-gen projects, but we are currently unable to add points to a user story. This helps in prioritising our backlog. However, it seems that no such option is in place. Can anyone help us?

Hello,

Go to project settings-> feature and turn on the estimation feature.
