How can one control the priority of Tasks in boards?

What options are available to control the way tasks are displayed and prioritized on the Task Board, especially when one has a board combined of 3 projects.

Rank is different from the Priority field. They are not connected. Rank is a global field across all projects, that is why issues from different projects can still be ranked. Priority is just a field. It is not connected to ranking.

Thanks Alex, I will work some more.

Rank is based on the User story ranking, correct? If so, how does one rank across projects? Also, with several tasks having the same priority - how are they ranked?

You can pull tasks up and down in the backlog and sprints. That is how you rank your tasks.

Or you can use the Priority field.
