How can i re-assign a task in JIRA? I don't seem to have that option.

How can i re-assign a task in JIRA? I don't seem to have that option. Does someone have to give premission to do so? If thats the case who would do so?

Thanks for your response. However, I'm still not clear where I'm suppose to go to set my Permission.

@paola_martinez, unless you are an admin you can not give yourself permission. You need to contact your admin and have them grant you permissions. If you are an admin then go to...

project > Project settings > Permissions and edit Assign issue to include you.

Typically this is done by adding you to a group that already has this access. This is done in the system admin level under User management > Groups and add yourself to the appropriate group or role.
