How can i have the Sprint Name on top left of the JIRA board like before, the Project Name doesn't help in my case.

Could you explain your need with screenshots please?

I am in the new navigation UI and the sprint in the board is still available in the left.

so where it says 'Opal Development', i expected the Spring Name to appear like before, do not see it in any other place on the view so if you can help. 

i do see it on the browser tab though.

Ah what you see there is the project name and it would be 'board name' if you have multiple boards in the project. It is not feasible to customise it to show differently there but the sprints inside the board and backlog should still be in the left side.
