How can i have the Sprint Name on top left of the JIRA board like before, the Project Name doesn't help in my case.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems so blindingly obvious that I have no idea how it got missed. If you are looking at the Board, you are on a sprint. The sprint has a name, which is meant to mean something (otherwise, why bother with it), but it doesn't appear anywhere on the board screen.
The company I am at uses the version number in the sprint name, e.g. "28 New features for client". Not seeing that when looking at the board removes a piece of information that was very useful.
Exactly my point, thanks.
We follow Weekly Sprints so got used to seeing the year-week before this change on the top of Sprint.
Will wait for the team to decide if it is worth adding back.

Hi @Dias Jacob
Welcome to community!
Could you explain your need with screenshots please?
I am in the new navigation UI and the sprint in the board is still available in the left.

so where it says 'Opal Development', i expected the Spring Name to appear like before, do not see it in any other place on the view so if you can help.
i do see it on the browser tab though.

Ah what you see there is the project name and it would be 'board name' if you have multiple boards in the project. It is not feasible to customise it to show differently there but the sprints inside the board and backlog should still be in the left side.

This is not the correct answer Fazila. If you read Dias question it is asking how to show the sprint value and make the information visible at the top of the screen as it was before.
I came here looking for the same answer.
The answer is that its not possible to do this with the new UI. There is a feature request dating from February here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-93338
It includes a work around to see the value by clicking on a button to the top right of the board. That is the answer.

Thank you for that. The obscure little loop button , which doesn't look like a button, is not the obvious place to click! At least now I have an easy way to check on the sprint details.

yes Siso, I know the button click and view (workaround), but having the Sprint name was very useful for our weekly sprints.

Hi I don't think the workaround solves the issue. When working in Active Sprint the name we should be seeing is the Sprint Name. At the very least put the hidden button adjacent to Active sprint
