How can i assign a default workflow to an issue type in a next gen project?

I see default workflows which were creaed by Jira in my settings. I am wondering how i can assign them to a new issue type i have ceated in a nex gen project?

thank you for the quick reply. But that is not wat i want.

There Default Issue Types by Jira. And i only want to use them in my next gen project.

But when i add a new Issue Typ i dont have any drop down menu. I just can Add an empty one.
