I need to update several common fields (example: Fix version/s) across stories in an epic. How can I do this without having to go into each individual story?

Search for issues with the relevant Epic Link (Epic Name), Tools > Bulk Change. On the bulk operation screen select the issues you wish to update, select next. Select Edit Issues, select next. Update the desired field.
