How can I stop quick filters from automatically being applied?

My board has a "Recently Updated" filter that keeps being automatically applied to my board.  We keep our tickets well groomed and I don't need to filter the tickets that have been updated recently.  I like the feature as an option but it keeps defaulting in weird situations, causing tickets to look like they've just disappeared.  It's an interruption to my workflow and I'd like to disable the filters from ever being applied automatically

This should not be happening or at least I have never experienced and, unless something has recently changed, is not expected behavior. I wonder if this is a browser cache situation. Can this be deterministically reproduced? 

You could always remove the recently updated as a test.

By logging in with incognito mode it is there by default always.  It sneaks back in other times and I haven't determined a correlation with anything I'm doing.

 

I've deleted and recreated it and that seems to have fixed the issue for now.  I'll report back if it crops up again.
