I want to have a filter that has a specific list of users as potential assignees, but when I run the filter, I want to be prompted for what user(s) should be applied to the filter at runtime? Can it be done? I thought I used to be able to do it with an older version of Jira?
A filter isn’t dynamic in that it doesn’t prompt for input. You have to modify the filter or create a new one. Now it is pretty easy to edit and change the assignee list. Depending on your needs, e.g. if you have a fixed set of assignee groups then just create several filters..
