How can I pull Team Board logged hours from Jira into a report/dashboard?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We'd like to use the Team Board for resource management. (As per below)
I can't see how to report on it (i.e. pull it into a filter and then a dashboard).
Is there some special JQL syntax to pull the Team Board hours into a Jira Filter?
